Greetings From The Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia

Hello All,
I've been hanging around in rock garden circles for some decades, although most of my on-line time has been spent on the SRGC forum in the past while. I applaud NARGS for opening the forum doors to all and I am happy to find myself back here.

I am the owner of the Canadian seedhouse, Gardens North, which I have nurtured for some 20+ years. I primarily wild collect natives of eastern Canada. This was mostly in Ontario prior to my move to Nova Scotia 2 years ago. Since then I have begun to familiarize myself with the plants unique to the Maritimes. For the past 3 years I have kept a visual public log of my wild explores and my work with germination in a thread called "My Bit Of Heaven" which can be accessed both through my website and on the SRGC forum.

My passion is seed and germination---and I suppose it is only logical that I have spent most of my adult life running a seedhouse. I have also been trying to finish a book on the native species of eastern Canada from a sexual propagation perspective. This has become a frustratingly long adventure as the time to finish it never seems to materialize.

Hiking around the wild and being close and personal with plants is always so much more fun than thinking about them.

I look forward to sharing our experiences here.
