Growing succulents from seed can be challenging but is the best way to add difficult-to-obtain species into a collection. Searching through various seed lists and exchanges one will often come across an unexpected species. Trialing new plants in gardens is exciting, highly rewarding, and growing from seed helps by creating lots of plants to experiment with.
